"I have stayed at this hotel several times before and found it to be excellent all around. However, this stay was not quite up to expectations on two accounts. In spite of a inspection and follow up from the engineer,the air conditioning in room 219 did not work effectively and permitted the room's temperature the climb to uncomfortable levels at night (78 degree).
The other concern was that the maid service noting a "No Service" sign on the door which was removed at 8:30 am on Saturday did not check back during the day to see if the status of the request had changed.
We were gone from the site all day and returned to the room at dinner time on Saturday to find that the room had not been serviced and the cleaning crews had gone home for the night.
It seems to me that 8:30 am is a reasonalbe hour to expect to be undisturbed by the cleaning crew and equally reasonable to expect that the crew would check a second time later in the morning to see if the status of the room had changed and not just skip seervicing the room all together which appears to be the case.
I have enjoyed previous stays at the Residence Inn and would hope that my next visit would find things at the high standard I enjoyed in the past.
